Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Social › LGBT Adoption Rights
8>8 Personal answerNo, and I believe a mother and father family structure is best for the child |

Domestic Policy › Gun Control
8>8 Personal answerYes, require strict background checks, psychological testing, and training |
Crime › Police Body Cameras
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Healthcare › Drug Price Regulation
8>8 Personal answerTo a reasonable degree, yes. All the government should do is ensure that pharmaceutical and medical companies can't charge absurd prices, i.e. prices should be fair, no unfair price-gouging or monopolization. Medical and pharmaceutical companies are different from most other industries because they deal directly with people's lives. |
Healthcare › Pre-Existing Conditions

the Environment › Climate Change
8>8 Personal answerNo, provide more incentives for alternative energy production instead |
the Economy › Paid Sick Leave
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Drug Policy
8>8 Personal answerThis is a tough one. I don't think we should decriminalize drug use, however, we should treat drug-abusers as people and we shouldn't send them to prison unless they are dealing drugs/are involved with other criminal activity. Instead, we should put these individuals through required programs to stop them from illicit drug use. To be honest, we cannot stop drug abuse until we change public views on the subject and until we get rid of the corruption in our government. We should also abolish intelligence agencies like the FBI and CIA who often have roots in the problems of drug distribution and aren't willing to put any effort towards stopping real crime. In fact, these intelligence agencies only serve to further worldwide crime through their unethical methods and undeserved treatment of American citizens. |
Domestic Policy › Term Limits
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › Iran
8>8 Personal answerNo, the U.S. should encourage Iran to disarm through diplomatic channels |
the Economy › Taxes
8>8 Personal answerWe should have total tax reform. We need to totally revamp government budgeting nationally so that money is actually used effectively. In this process, we should both abolish many taxes that only add unnecessary excess to government spending and cause hardships to the working classes and we should have more taxing upon the rich who don't carry their weight. Unfortunately, most proposed tax plans are not well thought out and will actually lead to more problems. If we are to change the way money is handled in this country we need to be concise and focus on all facets of the issue, particularly in regard to government management. |
Foreign Policy › Mandatory Military Service
8>8 Personal answerIt would be fair to require 1-4 years of service but not necessarily in the military. We could allow military service or other areas of government. Whether or not we institute requirements like this doesn't matter much to me but so long as we respect individuals' autonomy it would be fair to institute mandatory government service of some kind. Once again, if this were to take place it must be insured that it is being used effectively and not just a waste of our time. |

8>8 Personal answerNo |
Social › First Amendment
8>8 Personal answerYes, but do not waste money removing existing references |
Healthcare › Medicaid Work Requirement
8>8 Personal answerIn order to receive any aid, you should be either working, actively looking for work, or disabled/unfit to work. In each of these scenarios, there should be routine checkups multiple times a year in order to ensure the individuals' wellbeing and that they are not violating the requirements. However, no one should receive aid if they are simply not working. If someone isn't working there should be valid reasons such as serious illness or debilitating disability. If someone is able to work they should be working or looking for work. It would be wise to also require volunteer hours for those looking for work as well as aid in helping them find jobs. |
Domestic Policy › Gun Liability
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Crime › Defunding the Police
8>8 Personal answerOnly in situations where there is excess in the police department's budget. However, mismanaging budgets is a problem across the entirety of the U.S. government system and I think we should focus on the big picture rather than just police. |
