I want that to be the case, but I think as long as people exist there will always be conflicts of sorts.

Conflict is hardwired into the human brain, because opposing ideas could harm one's ideals, happiness, or survival. As long as people have any sort of power and an opinion that differs from another person with power, conflict is inevitable. Even children fight over trivial things, and what are politicians but children with armies at their beck and call?
