“Some neighborhoods have asked for police protection but never should a person be targeted because of the color of their skin, their age or gender (males 13-30) or how they dress. Minority neighborhoods are losing too many young men and stop & frisk exacerbates racial tensions that already exist in too many cases. It is also absolutely true that once a person dons a uniform and puts on a badge there is a distinct change in personality. We need to train police against that tendency.”
