It doesn't necessarily mean they’re pro-Biden. Boomers have seen many more presidents come and go, but never have they witnessed anyone like Trump undermine and threaten the democratic process.

Biden just illegally changed Title IX, the federal program that protects girls sports and opportunities in schools.

If schools don’t comply they lose federal funding.

Biden changed the wording from sex to gender, thereby allowing any male to self-identify into girls’ and women’s sports and spaces and scholarships. This change, if done, should have gone through Congress. He plans to do the same with an Equality Act if re-elected which would expand this beyond schools to society in general.

I’m a lifelong Democrat, 59 years old, but I’m a woman and mother first. I’m not voting for either of this dismal men. Women lose either way. I’m disgusted.

The real tragedy is that Americans can only choose Biden or Trump.

I'm going to get a lot of downticks for saying this – but I'd (very reluctantly) go for Trump because he got through his first term without (too many) major disasters, is not senile and doesn't seem to have anyone pulling his strings.

Yes, he is a poor apology for a human being – but so are too many politicians.

How do you feel about the idea that people's political preferences might solidify as they age, and does it make you reconsider your own political beliefs?

Reflecting on the changing political landscape, how do you imagine your political views might evolve by the time you reach your 60s?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2wks2W

How would you react if you felt a political attack on a leader was indirectly an attack on your age group or generation?

Considering the loyalty of older voters to the Democratic Party, do you believe lifelong political loyalty is admirable or should it be questioned?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2wks2W

Why do you think there's such a stark difference in support for Biden between older and younger generations, and what does it say about generational values?

Trump's an old codger himself don't forget, in four years all he did was give tax breaks to billionaires and try to steal the ordinary folks health care from them,yet still his dim disciples want him back the place is in a bigger mess than all of europe.

One thing I’ve noticed in America is that you could live your entire life and never meet another person who held a political or cultural view different to your own. Echo chambers in America are not just virtual, they are also geographic.

As a boomer born in 1956 I can attest that education in the 1960s and 70s was all about equality and tolerance.

The Great Society

The lessons have lasted a life time for many who paid attention

This boomer ex-hippie, who protested the Viet Nam war, was glued to the Watergate hearings, and who was the 70s version of a SJW, won’t be voting for Biden.

It’s clear he isn’t setting national or foreign policy, so a vote for Biden is simply a vote for his nameless puppet masters.

My other fear is that those-who-can’t-be-named will, at some point, agree that Biden is unable to fulfill his role, and thus afflict the gormless Kamala Harris on us.

It matters not, as I don’t live in a swing state but in a state so blue Democrats don’t even bother to campaign here. But there’s a certain satisfaction in voting for neither major candidate, and to be able to concentrate on local and state elections, which I actually care about.

It was my great misfortune once to live in Marin County, California. Like a west coast Stepford, everyone held the same opinions, enjoyed the same pastimes, worked in the same professions, drove the same cars, voted the same way and never ceased to congratulate themselves on how broad-minded they were. Meet one of them and you’ve met all of them.
