Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and 26 other Senate Republicans sent a letter to Education Secretary Miguel Cardona and Attorney General Merrick Garland telling them to “restore order to campuses that have been effectively shut down by anti-Semitic mobs that are targeting Jewish students.”
“You need to take action to restore order and protect Jewish students on our college campuses. President Biden issued a statement on Sunday, purporting to condemn the outbreak of anti-Semitism. If that statement was serious, it must be accompanied by immediate action from your departments,” the senators wrote in the letter.
The letter comes a day after Cotton and Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) called on Biden to send the National Guard to break up the protests.

If the college protests aren't violent they have their right to free speech. If they shut down those protests that would be silencing the voices of the people which would violate the constitution.
@AloofVoleSocialist2wks2W
For every Ivy League educated Republican, peaceful protest does not equal intimidation.
The radical right seems to want to silience any opposition to the massacre of innocent children and women in Gaza by the Israelis.
The blood of the innocent is crying out loud.
Our gov’t is weak and spineless. Its allegiance is clearly found in paid activism to sew chaos and fear. If it were a [real] gov’t it would have no problem standing up against the hatred and vitriol being voiced by anti-Americans.

Start charging them with felonies and ruin their careers

Tom Cotton serves AIPAC, not the people of Arkansas. He is literally a traitor.

Deport people who are here legally because we don't like what they say? Nope - that knife cuts both ways.
Unless they actually engage in or incite violence, they have a right to say whatever they want, even if it's ignorant and hateful. If they're violent, then send them home.
