Workers who are undocumented or have other immigration statuses who have lived in the US uninterrupted and have worked for at least eight months in industries struggling with labor shortages, should be granted temporary amnesty. Workers who are seeking asylum or refugees, should be allowed to work as soon as the application for asylum is submitted by an asylum seeker from a country on a list decided upon by the government or those countries with refugee status recognized by the UN.
