It could be used because people are constantly using and consuming media to where most people can't go for at least a week without seeing some form of media.

I think we do need to limit technology, especially at younger ages. Particularly during the ages of 0-8 as those ages are the developing ages, and bad habits can be started there. Then some limitations for the rest of the minors sounds good too as social media has a huge impact on young kids causing lots of body image issues as well as self-esteem issues.
