There are too many different denominations in this country. Laws should be based on voters. In regard to marriage allowances, I feel that if a church allows "non-conventional" marriages that is their decision, this is not something the government should have a hand in. Marriage is about love, not politics or Catholicism. In regard to education, if you want your child to have Catholicism as part of their daily schooling, they need to go to a Catholic school. The beliefs of any one type of religion should not be put forth onto children in a public school setting. Choice of a religion and the teachings of that religion is a choice for the parent to make until the child is an adult and can make their own choice.
