When encountering a new idea, do you consciously try to understand both its pros and cons before forming an opinion?

yes because its important to consider all aspects of a topic in order to have a true informed opinion

I think there are multiple arguments that I feel like this such as arguments with religion, gay marriage, abortion and more.

Yes I try to consciously understand both it’s pros and cons before forming an opinion.

Yes I do but sometimes certain topics do make you lean more towards one side
