Is the Israeli army as militarily successful as it claims?

No, I wouldn't call it being successful if a 35 year old man beat a child in an MMA match. So it's not a success when a country with the backing of the worlds largest military is winning in its efforts to decimate a civilian population.

Are you aware how evil Hamas is, and the October 7th butchery they committed? Both sides are at fault here, don't act as if it's a one-sided good-versus-evil clear-cut struggle for liberty.

Yet Hamas is not in fact Palestine. The same way the government isn’t the country.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington commented…5mos5MO

Palestine is funding Hamas. That's like the United States funding the Ku Klux Klan and having them invade Cuba. Not much different.

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia commented…5mos5MO

Because Hamas is at its head, what a SURPRISING thing about government power. They’re not assassins for hire, they’re at the helm of the government itself, so Palestine doesn’t have much of a choice.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington commented…5mos5MO

I know they're at the helm of the government itself, which is why I believe Israel is justified in waging war against the government they're at the helm of, to defend their citizens after being attacked on 7th October 2023.

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia commented…5mos5MO

How many citizens are we going to be willing to kill to do this though? Palestinian citizens won’t recover, and while they don’t, they will become more enraged in response. We spawn more violence and death from this conflict than we should b sable to defend, and as such, whenever possible, we need to have humanitarian ceasefires and every bit of aid to their citizens.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington commented…5mos5MO

I never said Israel was all-good or Palestine all-evil, I was just explaining the Israeli perspective to you.

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia commented…5mos5MO

i more than understand it, I really do, and I don’t blame them for being angry. (I try to stay out of the war over who owns what land) I just hope that they can say they’ve gotten their revenge without killing so many people. I find their government to be concerning at best, sure, it’s better than Hamas by a long shot, but I think that while America holds influence over it, we must make sure that it does everything as morally as possible.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington commented…5mos5MO

Then we don't disagree as much as I thought we did. The difference seems to be that I believe that America should stay out of foreign wars unless the homeland is directly attacked, and be as unbiased and impartial in thinking about foreign nations and trading with them as possible, to avoid entangling alliances and endless wars.

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia commented…5mos5MO

I think personally that there very much are good and bad nations, or, more accurately, decent, kinder, and worse nations.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington commented…5mos5MO

And I agree that some nations are worse than others, but I do not agree that that justified our intervention in their affairs.
