If they want gender-affirming surgery, by all means, I believe that they have the right to do anything they want with their body. However, one thing that I do agree on is that those who have gender-affirming surgeries should be talked through the procedures, the cons and the pros, what will happen to their bodies, and anything that could affect them for life. These "traditional" values are nothing more than people who are insecure in their own bodies and their life.
