I don't think it is fair to redistribute wealth from the rich but I think we can tax them more and use the taxes taken to create poverty relief programs.

Is because the only reason why their's such high taxes and inflammation nowadays is that other companies are starting to get greedy with the money they obtain by buying food from the market or just buying a drink from the gas station, All of the drinks, foods, or diary products something that has to be relating for food is going to be getting taxed. Not forgetting to mention that some stores tax .20 - .10$ depending on the amount of items that you have in your cart/ bag; making the poor people even poorer while the rich will get richer than ever, making it a lot more difficult to ever succeed in life with a minimum wage job.

The origins of welfarism can be traced back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, during a period of rapid industrialization and urbanization in Western Europe and North America. The harsh conditions faced by many workers and their families during this time led to calls for government intervention to improve living standards and protect the rights of workers. This led to the establishment of various social welfare programs, such as public health initiatives, unemployment insurance, and old-age pensions.

No, because most people who are rich are either born into wealth (which someone at some point worked to get them there) or worked to get there themselves. Anyone who has worked hard to put themselves in a comfortable position should not be taxed any higher than the rest of America. What happened to all men being created equal? Having higher tax rates on the rich doesn't sound like equality to me.
