I agree and believe children at a reasonable age should be well educated on the reasons for prejudice in the United States, since it is so normalized by people today.

I don't think that we need to hide things from the youth. However I don't think that it would be good to teach this in elementary because I don't think that I would have been able to understand it back then.

It is an essential part of history and explains much of our country, and all other countries' backgrounds. No person is not affected by it. How can we do better if we don’t learn from past mistakes and the systems that enabled those abuses?

Everyone is free and has the same rights to be successful. Some will be more lucky than others but life is not always a equal playing field.

If Critical Race Theory is taught in schools the only thing that it will accomplish is creating a more divided society than there already is. CRT is racist in itself instead teach the history of racism and don't force an agenda that simply isn't true.

I believe critical race theory is important and integral to understanding the history of this country and the current charged climate we are in right now.
