Should the government regulate the prices of life-saving drugs?
No, and the government should never regulate prices of private businesses
If drug prices are not regulated by any means, we risk running into the situation where private businesses will withhold essential drugs for medical aid and we will be at the mercy of whatever price they give us no matter how ridiculous. Drug Price Regulation ensures we get a fair price without our lives being used as nudge to take shady prices without relying on the trust of corporations.
