My mom raised me all on her own and never even thought about abortion despite knowing that she'll have to face a lot hardships that comes with being a mother at 24 without a stable job. We now are very content with what we have because of the hard work she put into providing for me, and she managed to pull through despite having to sacrifice most of her pay just to provide for me. She trusted the whole process, settled with a good job, and now I am well-provided for financially and we are very happy.
I am turning 19 years old in a month, and I am very blessed that she allowed me to live a life filled with a lot of loving people and allowed me to experience a lot of amazing things, and I never would have known that if she decided to get rid of me all of those years ago. People who disagree can easily say that if babies were killed they'd never have to know suffering, but let's face it, we are going to suffer in many ways, anyway, but it is never permanent, AND it should never be the reason for us to stop trying. There are still a lot of things to be grateful for. It is up to US to make the best out of life, and you will never get to experience having the child you decided to keep tell you "thank you for choosing me", if you got rid of them.
You can't say that you CAN'T do it when my mom DID IT, and it all turned out great in the end.
On another note, play it safe if you can't provide for a kid!

When my mom was pregnant with me (I have autism level 1- ADHD combined type) back in 2006, a Pakistani doctor suggested aborting me because he thought I had Down Syndrome and my dad was having none of it! Neither was my mom!

Good for you. Wonderful story, can't see why your comment isn't at the TOP of this list.

It's truly inspiring to hear about your parents' unwavering love and commitment to you, even before you were born. Their decision to stand by you, regardless of the challenges, is a testament to the incredible power of love and the human spirit. It's important to recognize that every individual's circumstances are different, and making the best decision for oneself or one's family can be complex. It's crucial to have empathy and understanding for those who find themselves in difficult situations and to support their right to make their own choices.

The right to LIFE outweighs all other rights. That's why it's not justified to shoot people who are disturbing you by being too noisy and why it's justifiable to steal food if you're starving to death. While the person you're stealing from has property rights, the second most important right, you have a more important right to live.

I see where you're coming from with prioritizing the right to life, and it's a powerful argument. However, let's take a whimsical detour to the wild west of the internet - the realm of memes! You know the "This is fine" meme with the dog in the burning house? Now, imagine if that burning house is the world of a woman who isn't ready to become a mother. She may be unable to provide for a child, financially or emotionally, or she might be at risk herself due to the pregnancy. It's like saying, "This is fine," while the house is on fire.
Now, about… Read more

No we can't, because if you really can't afford to have a child there's a line of pro-life people a million long who will donate money to you or you could let the kid be fostered instead of murdering him.
