What role do you see technology playing in a society that does not prioritize national identity?

 @9HZYXDBWomen’s Equalityanswered…4mos4MO

Post-nationalism is a political ideology that suggests the diminishing importance of national boundaries and identities.

 @9HZZ4F8 from West Virginia answered…4mos4MO

Technology will continue to serve as the discussion board for what our national identity is and what is should be.

If national governments became less powerful in favor of global governance, would you see this as a loss or a gain?

 @9HD4CGG from California answered…5mos5MO

A bit of both, But only an idiot would believe that national governments are in decline.

How could the elimination of national borders improve or worsen economic opportunities for you?

 @9HZYLCM from Georgia answered…4mos4MO

it worsens it because not people that are running from their countries are creating more poverty in america for actual american citizens.

Do you believe global problems require post-national solutions, and can you give an example?

 @9HNDHQPProgressive from Wisconsin answered…5mos5MO

 @9HNDC66Republican from Georgia answered…5mos5MO

We can learn from history, as despite education trying to teach us otherwise, we repeat the same mistakes and therefore may find solutions in the past.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…5mos5MO

How would your daily life change if there were no national borders?

 @9HNDW6D from Texas answered…5mos5MO

I live close to the border so a bunch of people would be coming through it...I will have no idea if these people are just casual people or are drug lords or people who want to do me harm, etc. Not to mention the shock this is going to send our economy into.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

How would the concept of 'home' change for you in a post-national society?

 @9HZWMJXRepublican  from Michigan answered…4mos4MO

You would still have a "home" but it would probably no longer be the same because the country was taken over and is no longer the same as what it used to be.

 @9HZZJCB from Florida answered…4mos4MO

It wouldn't. I live here, where I am; my family is here; my work is here. Borders are lines drawn on maps by political actors who died before I was born.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

How might losing national borders change your sense of personal security?

How would you design a video game that emphasizes global collaboration over competition?

 @9KNCXBN from California answered…2mos2MO

Use examples from the real world to creat game scenarios to teach right from wrong and help people develop their own opinion.

 @9KNCWPT from California answered…2mos2MO

I would design a game where you have to found a country. And you have to collaborate with other countries to become a better country.

How does it feel when you meet someone with completely different national traditions, and what do you learn from them?

 @9K99PNPWomen’s Equality from Tennessee answered…3mos3MO

I think it's cool to be able to learn about different national traditions.

 @9K994XQRepublican from Ohio answered…3mos3MO

I allow them to have their own beliefs and respect them because they're still human.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

How would a global currency affect your personal economic decisions?

 @9JS3ZQY from New York answered…3mos3MO

 @9JS3JYR from New Jersey answered…3mos3MO

I think that economic decisions should best interest our country more than others.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

In what ways could international friendships affect your views on national policies?

 @9JM6TGR from Missouri answered…3mos3MO

I don't think all nations will ever unite to form a utopian society, so as much as I'd like the idea of more international friendships, I think the U.S. political parties are too split right now for me to really consider or care about such future changes or affects on policies.

 @9JM5BJ9answered…3mos3MO

You might have more friends who are democrats if your a democrat and you might have more friends who are republicans if your a republican

What role do you think languages play in a world moving towards post-nationalism; should we have a global language?

 @9KC34WR from Texas answered…3mos3MO

I do not think we should have a global language. I don't believe our world powers are capable of deciding and moving forward with one determined language. This would be another opportunity to further suppress those who are unable to take the time and resources to learn the language, and benefit those who do.

 @9KC338T from California answered…3mos3MO

We shouldn't have a global language, having multiple languages is what makes our world so unique and diverse. Languages play the role possibly of being a barrier in post-nationalism, since it would be difficult for others to understand each other.

Could a sense of global citizenship replace the pride you feel on national holidays; what would these new celebrations look like?

 @9KBZZ2K from Missouri answered…3mos3MO

I feel like it would be cool if the world could come together and agree, but the likelihood of that is next to 0%. I would still celebrate national holidays and favor my country, but I think there could be global things too.

 @9KBZT7BPeace and Freedom  from New York answered…3mos3MO

equal representation for all people, not just focusing on one group of people.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

How do shared global challenges like pandemics influence your perceptions of national borders?

 @9JSS64YRepublican from Texas answered…3mos3MO

They need to be further secured, people shouldn't be allowed to just walk into our country because bad things can happen.

 @9JSRZTH from Iowa answered…3mos3MO

It makes it seem like we should close our boarders to others when that isn't the case.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO
