How might your personal experiences or those you've observed influence your stance on legalizing cannabis?

 @9JT89NL from Oklahoma answered…3mos3MO

I believe in terms of "drugs", cannabis is one of the least harmful drugs currently existing. Besides its medicinal uses, being a natural pain suppressant among other things, use of this drug is not associated with violence, crime, etc. and these factors only come into play when it is being distributed through the black market. Overall, I believe cannabis should be legalized recreationally.

 @9JT8ZZP from California commented…3mos3MO

I agree with this. I've done some cannabis research before and I've seen it's helped people with disease and autism. some helped with kids who weren't able to stop moving and they used medicinal cannabis and it helped them so much.

 @9JT87MKRepublican from California answered…3mos3MO

doesn’t bother me and i’ve seen it help cerebral palsy patients to lessen their symptoms so i know it can help in a medical sense but there are people that abuse this drug

 @9JT8DZXIndependent from Oklahoma answered…3mos3MO

I have seen the positive effects that cannabis can have on individuals and I don't believe it should be criminalized.

 @9JT88JQ from Oregon answered…3mos3MO

I think people should have to get a license to buy cannabis because it is getting spread to children,

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

If cannabis were as accessible as alcohol or tobacco, how do you think it would change social interactions at events or gatherings?

 @9J9RCXQ from Iowa commented…4mos4MO

i don't think it would affect socity as much but i do think there would always be people not wanting to try it

 @9JC4QFK from Pennsylvania answered…4mos4MO

people would just be overall more calm and able to interact with others better

 @9JCWCCY from New York answered…4mos4MO

It would increase mellow stupidity, help most people relax but make some more paranoid, and distract us more from achieving things.

 @9JC4YRBfrom Virgin Islands answered…4mos4MO

The number of crime rates would inscrease cause more people start to not think logical cause of the drugs.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

Do you think that legalizing cannabis could make discussions about substance use and mental health easier among family or friends?

 @9JF7QVS from Texas answered…4mos4MO

Legalizing cannabis would make it easier to reach out for help for substance abuse and mental health - it'd help to reduce the stigma around it.

 @9JHZSN4 from Michigan disagreed…4mos4MO

Although purchasing cannabis could influence mental health, it influences mental health in a negative way.

 @9JCDZPBanswered…4mos4MO

Yes, many people use it and it isnt going to stop making it illegal and forcing people to hide and sneak it is just wasting energy and can be a mental battel on them

 @9JG4R5SGreen from Nevada disagreed…4mos4MO

Mental health and substance abuse should be topics started in early education with age appropriate lessons about personal responsibility vs escapism, normalizing seeking help for overwhelming situations, and knowing signs of distress and trusted places to turn for help. And people facing arrest for mental health and drug related consumption crimes should instead, first, be offered medical services and rehab and counceling unless they are acting violent/ a public safety risk

 @9JCHNNF from Indiana answered…4mos4MO

I believe it will be hard no matter what because it will just be a different drug at certain points.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…5mos5MO

Could legalizing cannabis potentially lead to a more open and honest dialogue about drugs and responsible use in your community?

 @9HLDHMD from Utah answered…5mos5MO

i support the legalization of marijuana for many reasons but i do think it should have some boundaries to it such as not being able to go to a drug dealer who doesn't have a license to sell things to help stop fentanyl overdoses and stuff being laced with other substances. beause i feel marijuana would be very good for most people because of experience.

 @9HLDGNHLibertarian from Mississippi answered…5mos5MO

I think Cannabis Legalisation would lead to a better discussion about drugs in the US

 @9HLCZBWRepublicanfrom Montana answered…5mos5MO

It could go either way with it becoming out of hand or could limit the use

 @9HLD4NZ from Minnesota answered…5mos5MO

I think drugs are not good for ur so the best thing is just outlaw all of them except medicine, alcohol and tabaco.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO

How could legalizing cannabis change the way society views drug use and addiction?

 @9H953NZ  from Missouri answered…6mos6MO

Well, weed becomes a sort of precedent now set for the judicial courts, in deciding other drugs, and perhaps an increase in addiction may arise. But for the most part, addiction hasn't skyrocketed, and the view is still pretty harshly negative on the many considered dangerous drugs like cocaine and whatnot, weed has done less than many music forms, in normalizing those.

 @9H969SBRepublican from Idaho answered…6mos6MO

I think that legalizing it will remove the stigma moving forward that is a gateway drug and the medical benefits that come with the Plant definitely makes this legal among the public

 @8QMMB5MGreen  from Pennsylvania answered…6mos6MO

If cannabis is legalized nationwide, it would increase support for the legalization of other drugs and support for rehabilitation rather than prison. If drugs are legalized, the state could regulate them so that many of the harmful substances in drugs, like tar, battery acid, and rat poison, are eliminated. It would also see a sharp decline in prison rates, as we would no longer have the biggest criminal trap in the USA.

 @9H95D9B from Kentucky answered…6mos6MO

It should be legalized only for medical use for the terminally ill or with patients who experience extreme pain from treatment, as legalization for social uses will normalize drug use and lead to other, more deadly, drugs

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

How might the experience of cannabis differ if it were sold in professional settings with knowledgeable staff instead of less regulated environments?

 @9JSP4VC from Alabama answered…3mos3MO

It is safer to consume, significantly harder for minors to access, and dispensary purchases can be taxed so funds can be utilized for whichever social structures the state is lacking funding for.

 @9JSPK8C from Arizona answered…3mos3MO

There are many benefits to legalizing cannabis, not only for health purposes but for government revenue

 @9JSGTLR from California answered…3mos3MO

I can promise you there is no difference in experience between the two you sheltered idiots.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO

Would you be concerned about increased cannabis use in society or would you see it as similar to alcohol consumption?

 @9H8W4QLWorking Family from Texas answered…6mos6MO

i wouldnt be concerned about the increase use of cannabis use as long as its medically used or safely used in general .

 @9H8W788 from Michigan answered…6mos6MO

 @9H8W2MPDemocratanswered…6mos6MO

Similar to alcohol and if it is legalized regulation is possible and it'll be safer.

 @9H8XKK3 from Texas answered…6mos6MO

I feel the Cannabis Legislation would affect the usage very little. Those who do it illegally will now just be doing it legally, and the only difference is now more people are going to try it and perhaps get hooked. Cannabis also has some medical properties, so making it a legal thing would possibly advance our healthcare.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO

Is legalizing cannabis a matter of personal freedom or public health?

 @9H8VL2T from Texas answered…6mos6MO

In my opinion, cannabis should be legalized due to its medicinal qualities, as well as the safety of the people who are buying the cannabis. Might as well get somewhere safely than put themselves in danger.

 @9H8VXHMPeace and Freedom from Texas answered…6mos6MO

I disagree with this simply because there is too many people abusing the use of cannabis and other medical options should be used instead,

 @9H8XMZB from Kentucky answered…6mos6MO

I think that personal freedom is something that should be important to the people of the U.S.A. considering that the constitution was written by the founding fathers who went threw suffering of battling with Great Britain because they were under the control of King John III. Although personal freedom is something that should be important, because the freedom of speech should be limited to other things such as; false accusations and false information being pointed towards another person to make them feel bad I think that it shouldn't be as powerful to actually have "Freedom" of speech instead of "Freedom of speech".

 @ISIDEWITHasked…5mos5MO

 @9HP3NJWWomen’s Equality from Michigan answered…5mos5MO

i think same number or more people would use it. vape is legal and a lot of people are vaping

 @9HP3NCHPeace and Freedom from California answered…5mos5MO
