The country would benefit from a diverse set of intelligent perspectives. My issue is with the definition of skilled often lying in level of college education, whereas I don't think that's always representative of someones abilities or intelligence.

Immigrant are hard workers. They get stuff done in ways many americans can’t. I’d say skilled immigrants are highly valued if they’re all hard workers like most of them

While some may advocate for decreasing skilled immigrants on the basis that they steal jobs from Americans, I disagree. Skilled immigrants do jobs that Americans can't and make our nation more globally competitive.

Some people out there would say that they steal jobs from us. But I would say that's not true they only take the jobs that no one else wants because that's the only way they are able to get by.
