It’s more about opposing Islamic fascism, barbarism and terrorism. Israel just happens to be on the front lines.

 @EnergeticS0c1alSecur1tyNo Labels from Pennsylvania disagreed…2wks2W

the only fascism has been Israel's genocide of the Palestinians and America's and other NATO nations cracking down on the protestors protesting it

Wild. Take over a territory and displace people, then say you're on the frontlines of fighting them.

Jews are not going to let leftists and their islamist allies dictate terms regarding the security of our people anymore. Deal with it or get buried too

 @LlamaFaithSocialist from Illinois disagreed…2wks2W

Do Jews control America or something?

 @PanickyPantherRepublican from New Hampshire disagreed…2wks2W

No, Jews are on Israel's side while you groypers are standing shoulder to shoulder with the islamist/leftist alliance against Israel

Most Jews before the establishment of Israel were rather anti-Zionist for one obvious reason: people already lived in the area. It’s so absurdly clear how much the Israeli government lies, they’ve lied about October 7th, they’ve lied about Hamas, they’ve lied about civilian casualties, I could go on.

 @BenevolentMongooseRepublicanfrom Ohio disagreed…2wks2W

It’s actually extremely easy to see why a Hamas victory will increase terrorism around the world.

Can you direct us to an opposing study showing that perceptions of terrorism working decrease terrorism around the world? Of course you can’t.

 @GreenPartySparrowGreen from Ohio disagreed…2wks2W

The idea that, even if this were the sort of things that can be established rigorously (which it's not), it would automatically follow from it that unconditionally supporting Israel's war was in the US interest, as if terrorism were the alleged effect on terrorism were the only relevant consideration here, is absolutely preposterous.

But whatever that is not even my point. My point is that evidently American conservatives don't even think of it in terms of the US national interest.

They only make this kind of arguments when challenged. It's clear that they see "standing with Israel" as some kind of moral duty.

In recent months, the GOP has demonstrated a willingness to toss the Constitution both for Trump and for Israel. It's dysfunctional AF.
