Jan. 6 'Chaos Agent' Sentenced to Six Years for Role in Capitol Riot

The six-year sentence handed down to John Earle Sullivan for his role in the Capitol riot really highlights the importance of personal responsibility and the consequences of undermining the rule of law. While it's critical to uphold the right to protest, there's a clear line between peaceful demonstration and violent agitation that shouldn't be crossed. This case serves as a reminder that actions have consequences, and it's crucial for everyone to respect the legal boundaries that safeguard our democracy.

Some cops at the capital switched to the insurrectionist’s side, but no clear evidence of this issue actually exists. The supposed blatant “proof” of this lacks every aspect of material analysis and context.

Welcome back to the platform – I haven't heard your sobs for a while.

And your hypernationalistic raving hasn’t ceased either. I needed a break from toxicity, and I still really do, so I’m gonna ignore messages from you for a while.

You overdosed on truth. You really got to east into these things when you're a far-leftist.

Funny, the more I’ve learned about the world around me, the more leftist I became. Strange thing, especially on the subject of Palestine, I know who’s right, and it’s as clear as day that Israel is far from being the good guy.

Funny, it's the exact opposite for me. The more I've learned about the world, the more right (and especially right-libertarian) I've become – and on the subject of Israel, I know that the radical Muslim terrorists are wrong and Israel, while imperfect, is clearly the moral superior to Hamas murderers who killed thousands of innocent Israeli civilians on October 7th – not by accident, not because it's an unavoidable result of warfare, but because civilians were deliberately targeted. Of course, I oppose aid to all foreign nations, including Israel, but if I had to give aid to one, I would instantly chose Israel.

Israel had a years warning ahead of time when they acquired access to Hamas’ plan to break through the walls of Gaza, where food, water, internet, electricity, and basic necessities were controlled by Israel, and their intelligence shrugged it off immediately. Their own hubris made this happen, and they were so busy focusing upon further controlling the West Bank region that Netanyahu both instilled ignorance of the struggles Palestinians in Gaza faced, and noxious pride that led to disregarding the power Hamas was gaining.

None of this I dispute. I acknowledge the errors of the Israeli…  Read more

I’m gonna ignore the Bush bit here, but I’m not trying to prove Hamas right, I’m explaining why it happened, why Hamas did that, and what made them mad enough to do that. Short answer: colonization, decades of it. The soldiers of Hamas are the kids and relatives of those who’d previously lived in the land the Israelis took during the war. They were breaking into places they had memories of, places they’d lived in and remembered the loss of for generations. When someone has to know that the homes they lived in are being inhabited by the people who forced them out,…  Read more
