No, as the "supreme representative of the people" it's important that the president is in touch with the entire nation. If you can't critique your own leader and their policies, that can become a dangerous state of mind, a great example being radical supporters of former President Trump.

I believe that constructive criticism is vital to becoming better at whatever you do, especially when you are effecting the people who are giving you the constructive criticism.

If a political leader does not face the public for critical feedback or the things that the people want, how can one be better? A leader should know when to step up and when to comment.

No, if a leader wants to understand what his or her people really need, he or she needs to let them speak their voice.

Absolutely not. A leader appointed without an election from the people is an invalid ruler and should be removed from office, to be replaced by a true elected leader.
