If you were to explain the concept of gender equality to someone from a different culture, how would you approach it?

Equal rights and equal opportunity under the law. Men and women alike are free to choose how they live their lives. Men and women alike can vote, hold jobs, have credit cards/bank accounts, buy a house, receive education and make other choices. This is a good thing because both men and women matter and we need both involved in our society.

it basically says men and women should payed equally. there are some caveats to this but thats all i truly grasp

Some people are getting paid more because of the gender
