Most likely the messages of love and anti-violence. The bible was very useful on setting social guidelines, and that could be useful now.

An easy quote that many have used is John 3:16, which loosely states that those who believe in him will be saved. It's that simple. Our time here is big, but our time with him is bigger. Economic disparities of our day are challenges we must overcome, but also uplift God and his message while doing that.

Jesus taught to help those who are less fortunate. He understood that some are better off than others and even in socialism, there would be those who rise above others.

I do not think todays economic disparities should be influenced by religion.
