I would implement it because it can open up more opporutnities. While the current jobs may be taken away, due to the problem being solved a new wave of jobs may arise.

Yes. If it can get people out of dangerous jobs and protect our people then I support it.

Not all progress is good, however technologies must be contextualized within a culture. If the culture cannot incorporate the new technology without causing undue harm, that culture may need to avoid adopting the technology or risk unforeseen consequences.
