It's not just Hispanics who are "bringing drugs" It's also Americans who are paying for drugs. Instead of trying to harm the Hispanics the government should try and find who is buying these "drugs" and arrest them.

The position is no on the use of US military force. The “War on Drugs” is the longest running most expensive war in US history and drug use hasn’t decreased. Furthermore, the US can’t just decide to send the military to a foreign nation, that would require coordination between the two governments at the highest level and Mexico has already refused American military intervention in the past. Anyone proposing this is quite frankly not well informed on international drug policy and frankly the fact that this question and the possible answers were presented as such is a little disappointing.

The US military is a hammer. Drug cartels are a screw. Use the right tool for the job which is federal and local law enforcement.

Once the United States starts interfering more and more in political issues in Mexico they will want to have a bigger role.

If we let the current influx of Drugs provided by the Mexican Cartlet the situation and the epidemic will get only worse, we must provide a comprehensive plan to tackle the influx in our territory

There could be many consequences for involving the military like increased violence and civilian casualties. Although the military may seem like a good thing to stop Mexican drug cartels we have to ask ourselves is this decision going to cause more issues in the long-run.

Legalize, tax, regulate all drugs and these cartels and crime organization will faze out, as they no longer have any power.

Mexico is close to being allies with the BRICS Nations who are countries that believe in Communism. Many people are scared of communism especially Cubans who had a communist dictator ruling their country.

If they put a stop to it they'd incriminate a lot more people and decrease the drug abuse and addiction rates within our citizens by a lot.

 @9FJDJGQ from Texas agreed…8mos8MO

The cartels and the drug trade fuel rampant corruption and violence in Mexico, contributing to tens of thousands of homicides in the country each year.

When the cartels of Mexico kill and become a threat to the citizens of the United States, will you be on the no side still?

 @9GMNHFD  from California agreed…6mos6MO

No because hispanics are a large minority in the US army which could lead to mutinies, it could lead to cartel attacks in both mexico and the US along with the fact that mexicos terrain is similar to afghanistan’s along with being nearly three times as large

 @9GML7DG from Montana agreed…6mos6MO

I believe making sure that the Mexican drug cartels stay in Mexico is important, however this is not for the use of drugs but rather the violence that emerges from the Mexican cartels. Legalize drugs for all!
