You believe in a society where wealth and resources are distributed equitably, leading to the eradication of class distinctions and exploitation.
Scientific Socialism is a term coined by Friedrich Engels, a German philosopher, social scientist, and journalist, to distinguish his and Karl Marx's theory of socialism from other prevalent forms of socialism in the mid-19th century. It is a political ideology that applies the scientific method to societal and political analysis, aiming to create a society where wealth and power are distributed equitably.
The concept of Scientific Socialism is rooted in the works of Marx and Engels, particularly in their critique of capitalism and their vision of a post-capitalist society. They…

How would you feel if your efforts resulted in the same reward as someone who worked less hard, in the name of equity?
@9H8T5PC6mos6MO
I feel if I worked harder and put more effort into something then I should get more credit than someone who worked less and did not put effort in
@9H8YFV86mos6MO
It wouldn't be fair because they were working less to get the same reward which makes a person think life is easy and you don't have to work as hard as other people.
@9H7QTYF6mos6MO
it would be very frustrating, knowing you put in the dedication and the consistency but that other person did absolutely nothing.
@9H6SY766mos6MO
I would feel unappreciated and that my work was not valued.

How might eliminating the wealth gap influence the way younger generations dream about their future?
@9LBR66D2mos2MO
future generations are going to have to learn how to dream realistically because the wealth gap has quite literally eliminated the american dream of a house and a family with a picket fence and all that, everyone eventually is gonna be living paycheck to paycheck while the rich keep on getting richer
@9LDDGGC1mo1MO
You work for what you get in this country. Nothing comes without hard work. It may be harder for some but it is never impossible.
@9LD3M9Z1mo1MO
The economy at this point in time seems to put extra amounts of stress on the youth to need to be financial stable at such a young age or to have so much experience to even get a job that pays well enough to be satisfied with ones self.
@9LBQ3PTIndependent 2mos2MO
Eliminating the wage gap may lead to younger generations feeling less separated from older generations due to differences in income.
@9LBSMFJ2mos2MO
the way older generations were able to buy houses in their early years versus how the younger generation today cannot even think that buying a house is possible. the younger generation may feel less successful than the older generation when they were the same age.
@9LBR5XLIndependent2mos2MO
I admit Germany has a financially feasible social system in place that isn’t over-taxing the people. There are many places the government can take over your life and there’s a lot of red tape on simple matters but I have witnessed firsthand that it is very suitable for the German citizens. The key is Americans have a different culture and we value freedom and individual choice more than supposed security that has strings attached.
@9LBQZ3L2mos2MO
Younger generations may feel more open with dreaming bigger for their future, without worrying how much something may cost. Or how they'll afford even getting to that point.
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
How would you imagine the elderly or differently-abled individuals would be treated in a society where contributions are valued over capacity for labor?
@9L35VF4Republican2mos2MO
If they are bums and do not work, they should starve.
@9L39D7G2mos2MO
Differently abled and elderly people can provide completely different skills than the abled, and even if they cannot work it is often not their fault and it is our responsibility as able-bodied and young people to work in their stead and help them live life as any person has the right to.
@9KS57CP2mos2MO
They would be honored if they gave a life of work. Except that's exactly how it goes right now and some people think old people should die so maybe we have to work on that.
I value that they will be treated like everyone else and treated with pride
@9L35P532mos2MO
They would be more valued in society and have more of a foot in the door
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
If income didn't define social standing, how do you think our sense of community would change?
@9LBRY6W2mos2MO
I think our community would be better and people will look at each other the same.
@9LBRMCF2mos2MO
Money wouldn’t be part of our culture. The culture shock of immigrants coming in wouldn’t be as horrible and everyone would be able to work for it
@9LBRH4B2mos2MO
I think there would be a major change in those who think they are superior due to some numbers in a bank account. This is unfair due to some people not being able to fund their own education so they are unable to get a better job.
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
Would your passion for your current hobbies increase or decrease if the economic factor was removed from the equation?
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
What sacrifices would you be willing to make to ensure everyone in society has their basic needs met?
@9JJ7F5KIndependent4mos4MO
Very little sacrifice- research and history proof that scientific socialism disincentivizes individuals to work or to do their best work.
@9JJ79LM4mos4MO
Defunding the military, not a lot just a little. Momentarily getting less involved in foreign relations to get more involved in at home problems. Taxing the rich more
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
What values do you think should be taught in schools to prepare students for a society focused on the collective good?
@9LBRMCF2mos2MO
Like everyone can be horrible and that life isn’t roses like everyone says. The government isn’t always the best. Like students need to be taught the real world cause it’s gonna hit them like a car if they don’t
@9LG8VD81mo1MO
So that they don't blindly trust the authority around them and so they are prepared for the real world and also teach them how to do basic things like tax's, mail, Resume, Ect basic life skill because most people don't know how to do that.
@9LC7HYP2mos2MO
Teach the children that we are equal, no one is different and weird. They also should learn to treat each other with respect.
@9LBRKC22mos2MO
how the working field really works and what it requires for it's incoming workers to be prepared for.
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
How can a society ensure that it values individual creativity while still promoting collective good?
@9HXH92Z4mos4MO
I think individual creativity creates competition that overall is good for the society.
@9HXGTNZ4mos4MO
A society can ensure that it values individual creativity by having free programs to help the community.
@9HZ8NSGIndependent4mos4MO
listen to the peoples opinions and actually use them
@9HXGR424mos4MO
i think the scientific socialism is bad and is making people do something they dont want to do
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
Would you accept a lower standard of living if it meant that the poorest in society could live much better?
It would depend, but I would like to see the lower class be able to live better.
@9H94H7C6mos6MO
If im giving up what I worked for to help I want to see the poor side of society put effort in to get themselves back on their feet.
@9H93CW86mos6MO
Yes, but the power standard have to try as well not do drugs or of that .
@9H93CF36mos6MO
I would accept a poorer standard of living to improve the lives of those less fortunate.
@9H93BT96mos6MO
Yes because if I spent my whole life having everything I wouldn't be mad to give others that chance.
